Wired review – magazine app

As a technology-oriented publication you’d expect Wired to get an iPad app right – and they very nearly have. The Wired app has had some teething issues, but it’s a maturing delivery platform that’s well-suited for the kind of content it provides. You can check the app out at Wired.com.

HelTweetica review – Twitter client

Twitter clients are a popular market on the iPhone and that’s carried over to the iPad, with a number of iPhone clients already adapted or rebuilt for the iPad. Today we’re looking at a new offering, HelTweetica from Felt Tip Inc.

Awaken review – clock app

A number of commentators noted the absence of a clock app for the iPad even before it was launched, and many people miss it. Naturally, app writers have leapt into the fray to fill the gap. I’ve been testing several Clock replacements, so let’s start with one of the newest contenders, Awaken from EmbraceWare.
